We chose this place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary while on vacation in Cancun. Everything was fabulous, especially Marco and David, our servers. The steak on the salt slab was delicious as was everything else.
Came to dinner here on our honeymoon! Wonderful professional service! The food was flavorful with every single bite of everything on the table. Best food I have ever had! They went all out to make our dinner special! For two meals and app and a drink our bill came out to be 160 USD. Very well priced place!
My girlfriend and I came to Cancun for her birthday from Atlanta, Georgia USA. We wanted to celebrate somewhere special and a friend recommended this place to us. I must say that this was THE BEST dining experience I have ever had. The flight of salsas were excellent and unique. The short rib tacos were to die for. The skirt steak melted in our mouths. Even something as simple as mashed potatoes were out of this world however, the star of the show was the char-grilled octopus. It was absolutely scrumptious. Such an unbelievable and unique experience here but it would not be as great as it was without the excellent service provided by Joel and David. They were a pleasure to be around. Thank you for making my girlfriends birthday an unforgettable one.

We enjoyed our meal at La Buena Barra recently. We were planning on going to Navios, but decided that we wanted a more Mexican-style steakhouse. We weren't disappointed in the food. They offered complimentary chips and an eclectic mix of salsas for our meal. We elected to get the lobster steak option with flaming cheese on top. NOTE: THIS WAS VERY EXPENSIVE AND WE SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THE MENU PRICING FIRST. But, it was absolutely worth it. The chef was actually so proud of his creation that he came out to take a picture with it. Make this your 'big meal' of your trip!

We were so glad we tried LA Buena Barra for dinner. This has been the best restaurant we've been to in Cancun over the years. We loved our view of the lagoon, and our food and drinks were great. We started with some tortilla soup, which is the best I've had. I then had the roasted salmon, which was so moist and flavorful. Then, their keylime pie was a great ending to the night. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in Cancun.
Cocktails are beautiful presented and crafted ! Such a fun atmosphere with music and lights everywhere not to mention the seats right next to the water !!! 10/10 would recommend. Service was a slower pace but for this environment we get it ! Will be back !
